Term & Conditions

REGISTRATION & ENROLMENT:

Enrolment is valid for one year from the date of signature on the Enrolment Form.
Registration is renewable each year through Re-enrolment. Parents will be advised of the Re-enrolment Procedure in writing during the fourth term.
Unless otherwise specified, the White Peacock Studio terms follow public school terms.

20 days written notice is required.
The required written notice must be accompanied by full payment of any fees outstanding from the term during which notice is given.
Should parents/guardians give the required written notice but fail to settle outstanding fees, the account will be handed over for debt collection.
Should an account be handed over for debt collection, R200 will be added to the account to cover collection expenses.
Should parents/guardians neglect to give the required written notice at the end of a term, they will be liable for the following term’s fees. This does not apply at the end of the year when Enrolment expires.

PAYMENT OF FEES:

Fees are paid quarterly and are due at the first lesson of each term.
Although the preferred method of payment is EFT or ATM deposit, fees may also be paid in cash.
When paying cash, please insist on a receipt. Without proof of payment, we are unable to entertain fee queries.
Instalment arrangements may be made with the Principal of the Studio. Once an instalment arrangement has been agreed upon, all fees are to be settled in full no later than Week 6 of the term.
All fees not settled in full by Week 6 of the term will incur a R100 Late Payment Penalty.
Fees not settled in full at the end of a term will result in the student not being permitted to continue in the new term.
Unpaid accounts will be handed over for debt collection. R200 will be added to the account to cover collection expenses.

Unless otherwise specified, there will be no classes held on public holidays.
Students attending White Peacock Studio will be collected from outside the studio.
Students at Extra-mural School Studios are to follow the collection policies of the respective schools.
Parents are to inform the teacher if the student cannot attend class on a day so there is no delay starting classes.
Parents are to inform the teacher of any contact detail changes E.g. Cell phone no. and email address changes.
Students are expected to dress appropriately: clothing that allows ease of movement. No revealing clothes.
Although our drama classes are designed to be fun and non-judgmental, bullying or disruptive behaviour as well as bad language will not be tolerated.
For the little ones our children have a long busy day and sometimes run out of energy. Please make sure they have a little snack BEFORE class and bring some water or juice.
